Put The World Down For A While
Meditation is a time to simply stop and turn our attention inward. It is a time to notice how we are feeling, notice where we carry tension, and learn that it is possible to relax.
Putting aside our usual responsibilities and spending time being fully present with our body and mind is the first step in developing a meditation practice. This two-hour retreat provides an opportunity for extended guided meditation practice with a variety of techniques that can help transform the deep, unhelpful habits that create stress in our lives.
The retreat is offered freely by teachers Nancy Boler and Jennie Ross and is open to anyone interested in digging deep into this transformative work.
