Yoga, Disability, & Transformation
This series of experiential workshops, designed specifically for people living with disabilities, invites participants to explore the principles of yoga with internationally renowned yoga teacher and Mind Body Solutions founder, Matthew Sanford. Practice along with Matthew as he weaves story, yoga practice, and wisdom earned while living with a disability for over 40 years into a seamless practice accessible to everyone. Care partners are also welcome to attend.
MBS Sandbox Sessions
Join us in the 2025 virtual MBS Sandbox to play with all things adaptive yoga! Each month we start with a general theme, but where we go from there is up to you! In 2024 we are excited to offer sessions with additional resources from our MBS Teaching Techniques Library.
During our sessions, we’ll address those lingering teaching questions, share stories, and receive the support you need from others with their hands in the river prana – or sandbox, as it were.
Team Adaptables!
We are a team of superheroes who identify living with a disability as a fundamental feature of their lives. We believe that disability creates wisdom and needs to be shared. We laugh, tell stories, share yoga, and support each other. We create content and conversation that are centered around the real experience of disability. We create learning, growing, and healing opportunities for each other and sometimes for the world at large. Join us!

MindBodyReads Bookclub
Come explore how stories can deepen the connections within and among us. Everyone is welcome to join. To help make this a truly accessible and open space, all selections will be available in both printed and audio format. A shorter selection will be available each month as well.

Chat Amongst Ourselves
Grab a cuppa and join us for a light-hearted chat! Each month, we’ll open a Zoom room just for us. It will be a low-key, safe space where we can hang out and find our own voice, keep each other company, and talk all things disability and yoga. Contribute as much or as little as you like. All we ask is you be your perfectly imperfect self! Bridge the gap between yoga and community in this new zoom room, just for us! These are not recorded, so be sure to show up live!

MindBodyCreates
Mind Body Creates is a “makerspace” to explore what creativity really means to us. Somewhere where we can share without judgment, a place to process through art, writing, or whatever form your creativity takes. This space is open to anyone who wishes to join. We hope that it will also create room for those living with trauma, loss or disability to metabolise these experiences through creative expression. We want to grow this community together by sharing and listening to each other.
