Fridays – Ongoing Online 

Join seasoned meditation practitioners Jennie Ross and Nancy Boler for an online meditation class every Friday mornings from 11:30am – 12:30pm Central Time.

This class is open to all levels of meditation practice – from beginner to experienced. Together we will explore different meditation techniques that help us gain increased awareness of the mind and its relationship to the body and to our life experience. Meditation practice trains us to pay attention to and slow down the activities of the mind, so we have more space, to make better decisions and to live with greater ease.

These classes are taught on the Zoom video conferencing platform. You will need to install free Zoom software to participate in the class. A link will be emailed to you after registering. Please add info@mindbodysolutions.org to your safe contacts list to ensure you receive the class link each week. All classes are made available to our Mind Body Solutions Community at no cost.

Meet Your Instructors

Jennie Ross

Jennie Ross, Meditation Instructor

Jennie became part of the MBS community in 2014, when she started as a volunteer assisting in adaptive yoga classes. She has been practicing yoga and meditation for about 30 years, and is grateful to her Iyengar yoga teachers. About 15 years ago, she dove deeper into meditation practice and teachings, devoting extensive time to study and retreat. The benefits of meditation on mental ease and clarity are meant to be shared with others, so in 2013 she started teaching mindfulness and meditation in prison facilities, which she continues to do. In 2017, she taught two meditation workshops at MBS. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue to share the benefits of meditation through the MBS community.

 

Nancy Boler

Nancy Boler, Meditation Instructor

Nancy earned her first yoga teaching certification at the Kripalu Center in Massachusetts in 2000 and has been teaching yoga since then, drawing on Iyengar yoga asana study, pranayama and yoga philosophy. She merged her practice with vipassana meditation when she found her teacher Mark Nunberg at the Common Ground Meditation Center in 2004. Nancy then completed a two-year Mindfulness Yoga Teacher Training at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and loves blending the worlds of yoga and meditation in her classes and practice. She believes deeply in the reconnection that yoga offers. Her aim is to do the work that connects us all and decreases suffering in this world. Nancy lives in Minneapolis with her husband, daughter, dog, and fish.
