Yoga, Disability and Transformation – Session 2
May 10, 2022 @ 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM CDT
Virtual Event
Free

When living with a disability, have you ever noticed that the pace of your clock is not the same as the world’s clock? Whether stressing about how to manage the next minute or how to age fearlessly with your specific condition, living with a disability is a study in time. We learn to wait for our own bodies, for the extra time it takes to get somewhere, or for the years it often takes to fully realize what it means to be disabled. People living with disabilities are forced to become masters of time. Join this interactive, community conversation about the relationship between disability and the experience of time. This session also includes a yoga practice that emphasizes the uses of time in your yoga poses. Time is a teacher, not an obstacle.
Come join us live on May 10 at 2 PM Central Time and share your voice.
No need to register in advance, but you may register below to get a Zoom link and other updates via email. Sessions will be recorded made available on The Hub.
