Wendy reveres life and strives to create harmony. She has been practicing yoga since 2000 and her practice is soul centered and earth based. She has studied with teacher/mentor Coleen Elwood since 2003 when she was pregnant with her first child. Using yoga as a tool for labor, Wendy first experienced the deep and powerful mind body connection yoga offers. Since then, Wendy has dedicated herself to sharing yoga as a way to heal and empower herself and others. Wendy graduated from the 230 hour teacher training at The Yoga Center of Minneapolis in 2011. Wendy has also completed the Level 1 and Level 2 Adaptive Yoga Teacher Training at Mind Body Solutions and assists in the adaptive yoga class for people with disability at The Courage Center. Wendy is currently pursuing yoga therapy training to deepen her knowledge even more. Wendy is thrilled to join the Mind Body Solutions community! She not only treasures the mind body connection her yoga practice has given her, but also treasures the connections it has given her with others and the wonderful community it provides. Her teaching style focuses on empowering her students to bring their yoga practice into daily living.
