In 2006 Christine met her teacher Matthew Sanford. She knew immediately she had found a unique and special teacher with a transformative message and style of yoga. “If you develop presence in your mind and body your life will get better.” A back injury and long-standing chronic pain drew her to a yoga practice which was the beginning of a truly transformative journey – physically, mentally and spiritually.She added yoga to leading mind-body therapy groups and teaching classes that blend gentle and adaptive yoga with breathing, meditation, imagery and more. As a former diver and gymnast, yoga allows her to once again experience her love for being upside down and to move and play with gravity. It also allows her to connect better with herself and others; to open her heart and be more compassionate; a message of hope and wellness she wants to share with others.
