Angie’s journey with the mind-body connection began in 1999 as a certified massage therapist, which led to a career of rehabilitative body and energy work, and the expanse of trauma healing. She later discovered asana yoga and bhakti yoga (the yoga of devotion), which further transformed her life and her relationship to it. Much like the inner sensations she has found through these practices, she feels these things had a way of finding her, not her searching for them. Angie came to yoga to work with those inner sensations for personal healing, then become a certified yoga instructor through Yoga Center of Minneapolis, and in Advanced Level Adaptive Yoga at MBS. She now uses her experience to volunteer with Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Center in the adaptive yoga program, teach adaptive and traditional yoga classes, and work with special populations as a health coach and teacher. Angie is a Yoga Alliance RYT200.
