DESCRIPTION:Yoga\, Disability and Transformation Session 1 \nMarch 13 | 11AM Central Time \nObviously\, living with trauma\, loss\, or disability are different experiences. And yet they also share similarities. Within the disability community\, we run the gamut. Some of us live with overt trauma\, some with more overt disabilities\, and all of us have experienced various forms of loss. Some of us have acquired a disability\, some have been born with one. By definition\, living with a disability involves some degree of traumatization and some degree of loss. Join our community for a lively\, firsthand discussion of the differences and intersectionality of trauma\, loss\, and disability. Through a shared practice\, we will also explore how yoga can positively impact all three.
