DESCRIPTION:In this second installment of Stories for a Better Life\, we continue sharing identity stories with a slightly different emphasis. In Part I\, we shared our evolving identify stories for living with our disabilities – from victimhood to survivorship to stories that neither prioritize nor deny identifying in terms of disability. Watch Part I here. In Part II\, we share stories demonstrating the evolution from stories we tell ourselves for courage and stories intended to change the perception surrounding disability. Our shared yoga practice draws upon the connection between our ability to distinguish different body sensations and our ability to distinguish our different stories. (No prior yoga experience required.)
