Help us raise $50K to support the adaptive yoga program at MBS.

Join a global community practicing with singular purpose — to help improve the lives of people living with trauma, loss, and disability.  Your 7-day self-directed yoga or meditation practice will create profound change for YOU and someone living with a disability. Dedicate your yoga or meditation practice the week of April 13-19 to help us raise awareness and essential funds to support our Adaptive Yoga Program. It’s easy – and FUN! Simply DO yoga – wherever you do yoga! Kiss My Asana® is a virtual event, meaning your yoga practice can happen anywhere – at a yoga studio, a community center, or at home… wherever you put your mat or chair!

HOW to participate in the Yogathon – in three easy steps

STEP ONE:

Register today!  Your $35 fee will get you:  Daily email insights from Matthew and the MBS staff, a sweet yogathon t-shirt,  and the incredible feeling of practicing with purpose and doing yoga to share yoga with others. Click here to register

STEP TWO:

Simply commit to practicing this week with the singular purpose of helping raise awareness and vital funds for the Adaptive Yoga Program at Mind Body Solutions. This is really the only challenge you need to accept. Then, share your fundraising page with your community (friends, family, co-workers). You can even donate to your own page to get the ball rolling. Need a challenge?  Some people love to create a fun theme for their week – ten down dogs a day,  meditate first thing in the morning, practice every damn day… you get the idea. There’s no wrong way to create a challenge as we Kiss My Asana for a week.

STEP THREE:

Raise awareness and money for Mind Body Solutions! After you register, you’ll be prompted to create a fundraising page. It’s super easy to set up and share via social media or email. Need help? We’re here for you.

Post 1: Tell your story!

I’m participating in the Kiss My Asana® Yogathon to support the non-profit work of Mind Body Solutions! MBSOnline is a global community that feels like coming home for me – a place where I go to find strength and space in the body. To laugh and to breathe. When I attend an MBS adaptive yoga class, I am supported from body to mind. It’s where people of all ages and abilities are seen, heard, and celebrated. There’s a beautiful and strange magic that occurs in this community, and I’m so lucky to be a part of it.  Visit [Insert a link to your KMA Fundraising page]  to learn more and donate today! A gift in any amount makes a big impact and helps folks live more fully in the body they have.  Thank you!

Post 2: Help others!

I’m dedicating my week of April 13-19 to support the life-affirming non-profit work of Mind Body Solutions! Your donation to my yogathon practice this week helps MBS Online offer 11 weekly live online adaptive yoga & meditation classes, live events and gathering spaces for people living with disablity and a full digital library of prerecorded classes, instructions, and insight.  All at no-cost. MBSOnline – where people living in changing and challenging bodies come to reclaim connection, support, insight, and hope. Will you help me do yoga, to share yoga, and help others? Post 3: Have some fun!

Let’s have a little fun kissing my asana (yoga pose) this week!  I’m fundraising forMind Body Solutions’ Adaptive Yoga by participating in the Kiss My Asana Yogathon April 13-19. For every $25 donation I receive this week, I’ll tell you which yoga pose you remind me of – Think lion’s breath, down dog, cat/cow, or a warrior variation!  You’ll have to donate to see what pose you are!  Donate now to help people living with disabilities and have a little fun in the process!
