We’ve teamed up with lululemon’s Here to Be program and together we’re creating access to yoga as a tool to unlock real change in the lives of people living with trauma, loss, and disability – and those who care for them.
As part of the Here to Be program, we are pleased to announce a limited number of full-tuition scholarships supported by lululemon for yoga teachers and health care providers who promote inclusivity and bringing yoga to at-risk or underserved populations. These scholarships are available for use between Aug 1, 2018 and July 31, 2019 and are being offered for the Opening Yoga Level I/II Combination, Opening Yoga Advanced Studies, and A mind Body Approach to Trauma & PTSD workshops.
If you have any questions about your eligibility for the Here to Be Program, please contact Amy Samson-Burke at firstname.lastname@example.org. Those who are not eligible for this scholarship program may qualify for Mind Body Solutions’ general scholarship program (see below).
To apply for one of the Here to Be Scholarships, download the application below and return via email or standard mail.
We also have general MBS scholarships available.
Mind Body Solutions, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, is pleased to offer scholarship opportunities for its Level I/II Combination and Advanced Studies Opening Yoga workshops during the 2019 calendar year. Eligibility is primarily based upon financial need as set forth by the US Federal Household Guideline at 2½ times the Federal Poverty Level (see application chart). Scholarship funds are limited and will be awarded for partial tuition ($500).
Apply early. Scholarship applications are evaluated in the order received.
We will notify you when your application is received and when we will begin making decisions about your application.
Submitting an application does not register you for a course. You may register and pay in full for a course prior to learning if you have been awarded a scholarship with the understanding that if you do not receive a scholarship, you will be responsible for the full course tuition.
Submitting an application does not guarantee you a scholarship.
You may apply for more than one course, however, only one scholarship will be allowed per individual per year.
If you do not receive a scholarship, you will be put on a waiting list and be reconsidered if someone cancels their scholarship.
This scholarship may be used only by the intended recipient and is not transferable.
Once notified of the award, the recipient will receive a special code to use during registration that will unlock the scholarship rate.
