Kiss my what?

 

Kiss my asana (asana = yoga pose) is a four-week VIRTUAL yoga challenge during the month of April. 

Every April a wave of yogis around the world take to their mat (or chair) committed to doing yoga to share yoga and help others. Collectively, we dedicate our practice for the month of April to help bolster (literally!) our adaptive yoga program. It’s one of our biggest and most important fundraising and awareness-building efforts of the year. Come, join us…

By joining the yogathon you too, are taking part in a global movement, but in your own personal way. Commit to a goal during the month that helps YOU feel better. It might be a big daily yoga challenge, or a simple promise to take a few intentional and deeper breaths a few times a day. Get creative and have fun! However you take to your mat or chair this month, do it knowing you’re doing yoga, to share yoga…. and with each day, you’ll be helping others too!

Our mission is to help those who have experienced trauma, loss, and disability find news ways to live by integrating both mind and body.  We provide classes, workshops, outreach programs, train yoga teachers and offer highly specialized training for health care professionals. Our goal this year is to raise $60K – every donation matters!

It’s easy – and FUN! Simply DO yoga – wherever you do yoga!  Kiss My Asana is a virtual event, meaning your yoga can happen anywhere – at a yoga studio, a community center, or at home…wherever you put your mat or chair! It’s simple. All you have to do is commit to a goal for the month of April. Need ideas? Pledge to do 10 hours of yoga for the month. Pledge to practice every day! Maybe a daily down dog! The choice is yours. No matter your goal, you are helping us, help others!  PLUS… Register for the yogathon and receive your 2018 Kiss My Asana Studio Passport – your ticket to FREE YOGA CLASSES IN APRIL!

Create a feel-good karma opportunity at your studio. Host a donation class anytime in April and collectively make a profound difference in the lives of those living with trauma, loss, and disability. Register your class today we’ll help promote it on our website and all our social media.  We’ll even give you all the tools you need to promote the class too! Come to the Yogathon Kickoff Class!

 

Come, see and feel the work of MBS & register for the yogathon too!

Join us on Saturday, MARCH 17 from 10:00am-12:00pm at PAIKKA event venue for our Yogathon Kickoff ALL HUMANITY class led by MBS founder, Matthew Sanford. Take part, or simply observe a yoga class unlike any other as adaptive and traditional yogis practice side-by-side, revealing the best of humanity.  It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow yogathoners, pick up your yogathon swag bag and get inspired for your month of yoga! Please RSVP so we know how many to expect  – it’s FREE and open to all! There will be food, fun, music and a free brew from Lake Monster Brewery after class!
