As one of her college professors said, “Rarely does a teacher meet a student as enthusiastic as Gina…and with such seriousness of purpose.” Gina’s sense of commitment and dedication has continued for more than 14 years in the public relations (PR) industry. She began her career in health care, building positive relationships with local and national media. After years in corporate PR, Gina became an independent consultant in 2002. That was the year she read about Matthew Sanford in the local paper and her life changed. Having an innate sense of what makes news, as well as a remarkable story, she was determined to help his cause and elevate his mission. After years of pro bono work for Mind Body Solutions, she has now become Matthew’s freelance publicist, working on all aspects of his business, including promoting his book and the nonprofit. Gina is PERSISTENT until the end to get the story that will change lives.
