

Amy Samson-Burke
MPT, CYT-C – Adaptive Yoga Instructor
Amy
has been studying yoga since 2000 and has been a practicing, licensed
physical therapist since 1990. She will complete her studies for
certification as a yoga therapist in 2009. Amy has apprenticed with
William Prottengeier at the Minneapolis Yoga Workshop and continues to
study with him to this day. For the past two years, Amy has been an
advocate and assistant for Matthew Sanford’s adaptive yoga program at
Courage Center. As a health care provider, Amy has a vested interest in
changing the way rehabilitation is delivered so both the client and the
provider benefit. This interest has led Amy on her own personal and
professional journey of change and brought her to Mind Body Solutions’
adaptive yoga training program and its unique model for transformation
in the health care system. She wishes to share this powerful and
transformative experience with people of all abilities. Her QUIET STRENGTH touches everyone she works with. Amy lives in Minneapolis with her husband, two children and a big yellow dog.
